Copy Data Files to the Desktop

1. Go to the Start menu
2. Click My Computer
3. Double click on the O: Drive

4. Folders are listed alphabetically by department acronym. Double click on the envstudies folder

5. Double click on the GIS Tutorials folder
6. Right Click on the Geocoding folder and choose the Copy option
7. Close the GIS Tutorials folder
8. Right click anywhere in the blank, blue space on your computer's Desktop.
9. Choose the Paste option. You should now see the Geocoding folder on your desktop.

Start a New Map Project

Geocode Addresses

The Choose an Address Locator dialog box will open.

If you have a saved Map Project with Geocoded, Unmatched or Tied addresses that you want to re-Match, do the following to access the Interactive Rematch dialog box.:

1. Open ArcMap
2. Click the Tools menu

1. → Geocoding→ ReviewRematch Addresses. 
2. Choose the Map Layer of your Geocoding Results.  The Interactive Rematch dialog box will appear.
