I find it significant that, in as late a writing as Das Urchristentum, Bultmann can use Herrmann's term uErleben"Erleben" (as well as "Verantwortung") when he ·wants to talk about what it means to exist historically (226). Note also the phrase "im Erlebnis der Betroffenheit durch das Schicksal," which he uses to describe that wherein the discovery of lithe l"the radical difference" between human being and worldly being takes place.
