Sometimes articles are available for free from Pub Med. You'll notice an icon in the upper right corner. Clicking the icon leads to full text.

If there is no indication that PubMed has free full text, Drew Library may offer full text access online or in print. To find out, copy the PMID number.

Next, navigate to the Electronic Journals list: Research Resources>Electronic Journals (blue column to the left) or use this link: http://pb7zv8tc5d.search.serialssolutions.com/

Enter the PMID in the appropriate box and click the Search button.

On the next screen, you may be able to click a link for Article to go to the full text.

For some citations, there might be a link only to Journal. In that case, note the volume, issue, date and page information and click the link, which will lead to the Drew Library catalog record.

In the catalog record, scroll down to the holdings area to see if we have holdings for the date you need, in this case 1/28/2011. You can see below that the print journal is now located in the Atrium (near the comfy chairs.)

Unfortunately, Drew does not have every journal, so sometimes there will be no holdings. Your best option at that point is to order the article from Interlibrary Loan. The form is at URL: http://www.drew.edu/library/ill
