According to the original understanding, God's original giving of the law was itself grace. For while the law in its "what" consists in a plurality of commandmentsf commandments, the law in its "that" is a singular offer of helpf help, the commandments all being guidelines for leading an abundant life.

But, then, in exactly the same waYf way, Jesus' ministry of word(s) and deed(s) was itself grace. For while his ministry in its "what" consists in a plurality of commandments, his ministry in its "that" is a singular offer of help, the commandments all being guidelines for leading an abundant human life.
