The University maintains the right to impose sanctions upon students found responsible for violating the Student Conduct Policy or other University policy to protect the University community.  The primary purpose of sanctions is educational and rehabilitative. The reasons for the imposition of sanctions will be stated in the student’s file and will become a part of the student’s record. Sanctions may also be issued in abeyance, meaning that any further violation will may result in the implementation of the sanction in abeyance.
