Ad: was der Glaube ... aussagt/was der Glaubende ... aussagt -- I fail to see any significant difference between the two formulations, since if either is valid, the other can be no less so.

Wiki Markup*{_}Ad:_* _insofern er \ [sc. Jesus\] Gott glaubte/insofern Jesus seinem Gott glaubte_ \ -\- Again, my formulation depends upon Marxsen's. He does not answer his own question, _"Inwiefern ist Jesus Gottessohn?"_ by saying _"insofern Jesus seinem Gott glaubte,"_ but rather by saying, _\[Insofern\] Jesus_ _glaubte Gott."_ In any event, I see no significant difference between the two formulations -- for the reason given in the following comment.

Ad: zum Glauben an Gott/ zum Glauben an Jesu Gott und damit an unseren Gott, zum Glauben an unseren Gott und damit an Jesu Gott – Here, again, I see no significant difference between the two formulations. The only God I am talking about is the God who is both our God and Jesus' God; and by the claims of Christian faith and witness themselves, the only God Marxsen can be talking about as Jesus' God or as our God is the one and only true God who is also our God -- indeed, everyone's God.
