Our current ILS uses locations in ways that FOLIO does not. In FOLIO a checked out item's status is "checked out" which does effect it's location. How does FOLIO indicate other details that our ILS uses current locations, like DISCARD or MISSING, for?
Online titles will not have items with material types or call numbers with locations such as WWW. Instances can also have multiple tags which might get the job done - e.g. Online, Reference, USGovDoc, etc. If we decide to use these we should select all that apply: all USGovDocs get the USGovDoc tag and all that are online also get the Online tag.
Here is a first draft of possible names for FOLIO's location tree for us to discuss. Once we decide I will create the tree via API using /opt/folio/api/POST/locationTree.pl
