All visitors to Drew University are welcome to use the library's collection within the library. In order for program participants to borrow materials, their program administrator must have signed an agreement with the library guaranteeing compensation for non-returned items.

Students are subject to overdue fines of 10 cents a day. The Maximum overdue fine per item is $10.00. Overdue notices are sent as a courtesy, due date slips are placed in each book at check-out. Items overdue for 40 days are automatically assumed to be lost and a per item replacement charge is placed against the borrower's library account. Replacement fee is $75 per book. Assumed lost items must be brought to the Circulation Desk for discharging. Once returned the $75 fee per item is reduced to a $10 per item administrative chargelesser amount. If the library has purchased a replacement copy, the $75 fee is not reduced. Fines over $20 will result in loss of borrowing privileges until the fine has been paid.
