The Drew University Computer Initiative offers a standard set of PC-based desktops and laptops, allowing University Technology to provide a high level of support and service for the current "standard computers".  Beyond that, numerous services are accessible through other types of operating system and mobile devices. In specific circumstances, the University will authorize the purchase of a Mac computer for a faculty or staff person, and any member of the Drew community may use a personally owned Mac to access a wide range of Drew's IT infrastructure. To that end, four topics have been identified for which University Technology will support Mac computers through the Helpdesk, Faculty Lab and Staff Lab.

Scope of Support

University Technology will offer support for Macs on the four topics listed below in the form of documentation linked from this page. Methods of accessing or utilizing Drew services from a Mac other than those listed, and any other Mac functionalities not explicitly mentioned in these pages, are the sole responsibility of the customer. All procedures have been tested on University owned Macs and are known to be working as of the published date of each document. Any problems or errors that arise in following these directions most likely indicates issues specific to the customer's computer and should be referred to an Apple store or similar resource.

These pages describe what University Technology is able to offer to Mac users on campus:
