The Notebooks of Schubert Ogden
What is "personal identity"?
"Personal identity" is a special form of "individual identity" ≡ "genetic identity," as distinct from "strict identity."
It is the special form of genetic identity involving the persistence of certain defining characteristics in a very complex (nonlinear) bodily society endowed with a preeminent simple (linear) society ≡ soul.
