The term "possible worlds" is problematic and should be avoided.

Why? Because the possible as such is always more or less indeterminate-determinable, whereas any world, properly so-called, is actual and as such fully determinate.

Instead of speaking of "possible worlds," therefore, we should speak of "possibilities for worlds" or "possible sorts [or kinds] of worlds."
