When searching in ScienceDirect and wishing to export citations, 

1. Mark the items you want to send to EndnoteWeb with checkmarks. 

2. Click Export.


4. Choose RIS format.

5. Click export.

6. A  ScienceDirect_citations(...).ris file will download and can be collected in EndnoteWeb. 


Collecting citations into EndnoteWeb from ScienceDirect

1.Open the EndNote window or tab.

2. Select the "Collect" tab and click on "Import References"

3. Choose the ScienceDirect (...).ris file from your download folder

4. Select either "RefMan" or "ScienceDirect" as your "Import Option." If those choices are not in your drop down folder, you will need to get them by clicking "Select Favorites."

5. Select the folder to which you wish to add the citations (or create a new one) and click "Import."
