Computers owned by Drew University are centrally managed and will routinely receive updates for both the operating system and managed applications.
There will be notifications of these updates presented to the user in either the form of simple notifications from the Notification Center or ones that appear at the center of the screen to catch your attention.
For Apple device users, the notifications may look like this for an operating system update. This will be a simple dismissible notification::
For Windows device users, you may see notifications like this for an operating system update, where there is a notice that appears at the center of the screen and darkens everything around it:
