Service points are places where people work with FOLIO's UI and are associated with both Users (via the servicePointsUsers db table) and Locations (which require a servicepoints.id in the primaryServicePoint field and at least one, even if it is the same one, in the servicePointIds array.) If an item is returned to a service point other than the one that it's holdings record is associated with it will be put into transit.
