Welcome to the Drew University Policy Library

Policies help connect our daily activities with the University’s mission by setting expectations and clarifying processes for individual members of our community. Members of the University community are expected to follow those policies applicable to their activities.

Drew University policies are reviewed on a five-year cycle.

For quick access to new or recently updated policies, please see the boxes directly below. For the full list of policies, please see the table below. This table may be sorted by any of the headers, or policies can be searched for using Control/Command + F. 

Also available for use to create, edit or recind policies:

• Policy Template - New template that should be used for all new and updated policies. You will be prompted to make a copy of the policy to view/use it.
• Policy Action Form - Must be completed for any new policy proposals that are not already part of the current policy update process. Please download the attached file, save the new file as the policy name, and email the completed form to policies@drew.edu.

• Policy Numbering System - System for determining the policy number. Policy Review Team will assign numbers. Please email policies@drew.edu if you have any questions. 
• Policy Terms/Definitions - We will create a Policy Terms/Definitions document, which will include general, frequently used policy definitions (e.g., “business day”), eliminating the need to define these terms in each policy that is developed. This document will be forthcoming.
