discardItems 

• scan a barcode - confirm you've got the right item
  • if it is make a choice:
    • draw a sharpie thru the barcode and click "yes, this is ready for discard"
      • does this then remove the item, holdingsRecord, and mark the instance suppressed from discovery and the record deleeted=true?
    • draw a sharpie thru the barcode and click "edit holdings and item records"
      • use this if you want to remove the item but not the title if you have a URL that you want to put into an 856
  • if it is not put the item on the "problems" shelf and click "no, there's a problem"

patron load and renew 

• loads new, and/or renews, patrons based on the information in allBannerInfo.txt which is updated early every morning

• displays a list of what is on reserve at the circ desk like so:
  • Course code Course name
  • Instructor name
    • Title
      • Location Call Number
