The University closely monitors events and developments and have actively assisted a number of employees and students facing individual or family issues; we will, of course, continue to do so.
While federal authorities are not precluded from being on campus, Drew is committed to ensuring that any federal enforcement actions on campus adhere to due process. If any member of the Drew community sees or is approached by an ICE agent on campus, you should refer them to Campus Security (973-408-3379). Here and attached is guidance regarding potential immigration and other federal law enforcement activity on campus.
Drew’s policy is to protect the privacy of all our students and their records and to share records only if required by law. Here and attached is Drew’s Protocol for Responding to Requests for Information About Members of the University Community, which includes additional resources on the subject.
As in the past, when relevant programming is scheduled, we will share the information via email through the Campus Life & Student Affairs email account. We have included a recording of the How to Support Students in Crisis September 2025 event here for you as well.
