“Most Contested Election in History!” – History of US Elections

From “Revolution of 1800,” to the “Corrupt Bargain” of 1824, to the disputed election of 1876 (which resulted in the creation of a congressional Electoral Commission), Presidential Elections have always been divisive. In the 2000 election, the contested results went before the US Supreme Court.
