Tolley-Brown Lounge, c.1960s
History
Constructed: 1964
The Tolley-Brown dorm complex contains two halls, joined by a connecting unit with a large central lounge and several meeting and study rooms.
At the time of its construction, Tolley-Brown hall was not a co-ed dorm. It contained a men's hall, Tolley, and a women's hall, Brown. Before it had an official name, the first students to reside in the newly constructed dorm hall , knew the buildings as the "South Wing" and "North Wing," respectively. At one point, the Tolley Hall basement was home to Drew's WMNJ-FM radio station and the Oakleaves Yearbook offices.
