- Log in to Endnote Web.
- Click on the Format Tab. Choose the Cite While You Write Plug-In option.
- Select either the Windows or MacIntosh option, depending upon your computer. The Opening EndNoteWeb.EXE The Internet Explorer Security Warning dialog box will appear. Click on Run. The Another Internet Explorer Security Warning dialog box will appear. Click Dialog box wll appear. It will ask you if you want to run the software. Click on Run.
- The EndNote Web Setup wizard will begin to run. This action may take a few moments. When prompted by the Welcome to Endnote Web Instalation wizard press Next. When you are prompted for Registration information, enter enter your name and use Drew University as the company. Click Next.
- Allow When you are asked to select a destination for the program installation, allow the program to install itself in the default location by clicking Next twice.
- When prompted, click Finish.
- Close the Internet Explorer web browser to finish the installation.
