Connecting to Drew's wireless network is similar to connecting with most other wireless networks. General information about wireless networking at Drew can be found here: DONUT Unit 1 Wireless Connectivity.

Note

The Drew's wireless network requires authentication.  If you use the drew1x network, you can enter your credentials once and access the network every time from then on.  If using the "drew" network, the first time you connect any laptop to Drew's wireless network in a given usage session, you must log in before connecting to any off-campus sites. To do this, open a web browser and access any non-Drew website. IM and other similar programs will not function until you complete this stepwill have to authenticate to the network.  IM and other Internet services on your computer will not work properly until then.

Info

There are two wireless networks to connect to.  One  is named "drew" and will requrie you to log in to a Web page with your uLogin ID before accessing sites off-campus.  The other is "drew1x" and requires you to set up 802.1x authentication with your username and password to connect. drew1x is not available in all locations on campus at this time, so configure your computer to access both networks.
