  1. If you added something in the wrong order, you can remover any of the File Layers you added:
  2. Right click on the Label Name of the File Layer. A pull down menu will appear.
  3. Choose the Remove option by clicking it once. The Remove dialog box will appear, asking you if you are sure you want to remove the layer from the map.
  4. Click Yes.

Making Layers Visible and Invisible

You can make layers visible and invisible by checking and unchecking the box next to each Label Name.

Save Your Examining Conclusions Map

  1. Save your Examining Conclusions worksheet map by clicking on the ArcGIS Explorer button at the top, left hand corner of the screen.
  2. From the pull down menu that appears, choose Save As.
  3. Click on the ArcGIS Explorer Map option to save the map with a name you give it.
  4. In the Save As dialog box, navigate to the Dust Bowl folder on your computer's Desktop.
  5. Name the file Dust Bowl Examining Conclusions.nmf.
  6. Click Save.
