(VOj.lOl(νόμο) is the "unwrItten unwritten law" (VOIl·OC; a:ypa<j>oc;νόμοϛ άγραφοϛ), the "common law" (K01VOC; /vOj.loC; κοινϛ νόμοϛ), or, as it can also be called--in effect, confusing the distinction between "qnScnc;ϕύσιϛ" and what exists "<Pt)cr£lφύσει," on the one hand, and "v6j.loC;νόμοϛ" and what exists "vtj.lq)νόμω," on the other--the "law of nature," or the "natural law" / I'(vOIl0C; <PUGECOC;(νόμοϛ φύσωϛ).
