As you know, cyber crime remains an extremely high risk for universities and colleges across America including ransomware attacks. In addition to the risk, there is also a high price to be paid for cyber insurance. One of the main factors in our cost is the level of awareness training completed by our faculty and staff. Because October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Drew is launching a new cybersecurity training program. Drew employees are required to complete this first round of training by December 1, 2022.

The materials in this training are provided by KnowBe4, a top in the nation cybersecurity training platform. Based on feedback received during the 2021 security training initiative, University Technology sought a system that would be easy to log into and would present more relevant information in a better way. We believe you will both appreciate and learn valuable tips from the video you are required to watch.

Invitations to take assigned The invitation to begin this training will come from do-not-reply@training.knowbe4.com. The message should not be flagged as spam; however, should you have a question about the authenticity of the email you receive, you can call the Technology User Experience team at 973-408-4357 or forward the email to helpdesk@drewux@drew.edu. If you have questions about the requirement to participate in this training, please speak with your supervisor or Drew’s the Human Resources department.
