The Mead Meadow, a wildlife habitat between Mead Hall and Brothers College, was established in the summer of 2011. It replaces the lawn area under the trees in front of the Hall of Sciences and Brothers College toward Mead Circle. Additional wildflowers were planted by faculty, staff, and students in the spring of 2012 and of 2013.  In the Summer 2015 the meadow was relocated to the side of the Hall of Science adjacent to the Labyrinth.
