This manual was originally prepared by the Library Disaster Preparedness Committee and reviewed by Tom Evans, Director of Public Safety, prior to its being issued to the staff in 1992. It has been updated over the years since. It is intended to serve as a guide for staff members in emergency situations. It is important that staff members acquaint themselves with the procedures in the manual prior to the occurrence of an emergency situation.
