Connecting to Drew's wireless network is similar to connecting with most other wireless networks. General information about wireless networking at Drew can be found here: DONUT Unit 1 Wireless Connectivity.

The first time you connect any laptop to Drew's wireless network in a given usage session, you must log in before connecting to any off-campus sites.

To do this, open a web browser and access any non-Drew website. IM and other similar programs will not function until you complete this step.

The following links to Apple's support website are provided as a courtesy, and apply to Mac OS 10.6:

The most up to date information can always be found by searching for these topics at http://www.apple.com/support/.

There are two wireless networks to connect to.  One  is named "drew" and will requrie you to log in to a Web page with your uLogin ID before accessing sites off-campus.  The other is "drew1x" and requires you to set up 802.1x authentication with your username and password to connect.
