here's a checklist of the data that needs to come out of the ILS (most of the data must be checked for unwanted pipes before being copied to Walter) :
- Bibliographic records
- date created and cataloged
- title shadow flags
- marc records with catalog keys and holdings
- harvested from the ILS
- translated to UTF-8 via MarcEdit
- copied to /opt/folio/parse
- Charges (after all items and users have been loaded into FOLIO)
- History logs
- Item data
- call number & item shadow flags
- call number analytics
- Circ, Public, & Staff notes
- ItemCats 1 & 2
- MARC holdings records
- not-bibliographic stuff (locker keys, room keys, USBs, etc) !!! do this first - then hide them from the harvesting process !!!
- Reserves
- User data
- Bills
- date privilege granted
- Notes
