These instructions come from the Mitel IP485g User Guide, pages 64 and 66.
As a safeguard against accidental erasures, the system retains deleted messages for a few hours.
At Your Phone
- Press the Voicemail button.
- At the prompt, enter your voicemail password. Your voicemail inbox is displayed.
- Do one of the following:
- To delete messages from your Inbox, press the and navigation keys to scroll through your messages until you locate the message you want to delete.
- To delete saved messages, do the following:
- Press the More soft key.
- Press the Show saved soft key.
- Your saved messages are displayed.
- Press the and navigation keys to scroll through your saved messages until you locate the message you want to delete.
- With the message highlighted, press the Delete soft key. The message is deleted.
- For each message that you want to delete, repeat steps 3-4.
- When you’re finished deleting messages, press the Exit soft key.
From a Different Phone
Log in to Voicemail
- Call 973-408-4933.
- Enter your extension.
- Enter your password followed by #.
Listen to, Replay, Save or Delete Messages
- To listen to new messages, press 1.
- As you listen to each message, you can do one of the following:
- To replay a message, press 1.
- To save a message, press 2.
- To delete a message, press 3.
To listen to your deleted messages
- Press 7 at the Main Menu prompt.
- Press 7.
- Voice mail plays all the deleted messages still available to the system. During playback, you can manage deleted messages as if they were newly arrived messages.
- To restore a deleted message, press 2.
