The Notebooks of Schubert Ogden

1. The divine action whereby God is ad intra triune is the same divine action whereby God is ad extra Creator-Emancipator and Consummator-Redeemer of all things, and also Savior of all human (indeed, all understanding) beings who respond to God's action through obedient faith.

2. This divine action is at once one and (infinitely) many: it is one in the sense that the way God acts, or the how of God's action, considered abstractly, is always one and the same; it is (infinitely) many in the sense that this one way or how of God's action is actualized again and again anew in the concrete divine acts constitutive of God's own unbegun and unending history and also of all other histories.
