Couldn't one reasonably argue that the differences between a monistic inclusivism, on the one hand, and a pluralistic inclusivism, on the other, reproduce at the level of the "higher," or "larger" ecumenism, i.e., ecumenism between the religions, the differences between an essentially Roman Catholic and an essentially Protestant understanding of the visible church at the lower level of ecumenism, i.e., ecumenism between the Christian churches?
