1. If one lives decisively through Jesus, one lives authentically.

2. If one does not live authentically, one does not live decisively through Jesus.

3. If one lives authentically, one lives decisively through Jesus.

4. If one does not live decisively through Jesus, one does not live authentically.

Note that it is 2, not 4, that can be immediately inferred from 1. Therefore, 1 may well be true even though 4 (as well as 3) is false, and whether 4 (as well as 3) is true or false is independent of the truth of 1 (and 2).

Also, 1 and 2 are the positive and contrapositive respectively of the position I call "pluralistic inclusivism," while 3 and 4 are the positive and contrapositive respectively of the contradictory position that I call "monism," i.e., "monistic inclusivism" and well as "monistic exclusivism."
