Whereas all individuals other than God are individuated by being located somewheresomewhen within the world, God as an individual is individuated by including the world, and so every somewhere-somewhen, within Godself. Otherwise put: whereas all individuals other than God are particular individuals having an external as well as an internal environment, God is the sole universal individual whose only environment is internal, there being nothing outside God. God and the world means, always, the world in God, as well as God in the world (cf. Hartshorne, LP: 262).
