The Cornell Library was dedicated in 1886. Here is a list of items within the library cornerstone
The library opened on November 20,1888. It was the first library building constructed at Drew Theological Seminary.

One element of the library that still exists is the surviving "Rose" Window, now located in the Learning Resource Center.

The Cornell Library was torn down 1938 when the larger Rose Memorial Library was constructed on the site. Rose Memorial Library later became part of the Learning Resource Center.
