I work in the Drew University Library as a Acquisitions Assistant and as an Archives Assistant.
Collection and Metadata Services
- Load bibliographic records into the library catalog
- Check incoming materials for errors
- Receive titles and process invoices in the library's SISRI database.
- Order ebooks using ebrary.
- Order rush titles using Midwest Library Service's Interacq system
Archives
- Organize University Archival Collections
- Assist in collection development
- Assist in exhibit production
Committees
Special Collections and Archives Committee
- Revise the Categories of Need for the Preservation Plan in progress
- Serve as liaison for several Special Collections
- Attend committee meetings and periodically record the minutes.
Strategic Planning Task Force
- Assist in producing a draft document based on library strategic planning
- Archive all email correspondence related to Strategic Planning
