I work in the Drew University Library as University Archivist and as a member of the Special Collections/ University Archives Department.
I also work in the Collections and Metadata Services department as an Acquisitions Assistant.
University Archives
- Organize University Archival Collections
- Assist in digitization of special collections
- Assist in exhibit production
Collection and Metadata Services/Acquisitions
- Load bibliographic records into the library catalog
- Check incoming materials for errors
- Receive titles and process invoices in the library's SISRI database.
- Order ebooks using ebrary.
- Order rush titles using Midwest Library Service's Interacq system
Committee and Department work
Library Dean's Council
- Elected by Library Faculty and Staff to serve as an at-large member for 2012-2013.
Special Collections and Archives Department
- Revise the Categories of Need for the Preservation Plan in progress
- Serve as liaison for several Special Collections
- Attend committee meetings and periodically record the minutes.
Strategic Planning Task Force
- Assist in producing a draft document based on library strategic planning
- Archive all email correspondence related to Strategic Planning
