A network printer is one that has been set up by University Technology on the Drew campus network so that multiple computers are able to print without being plugged into the printer directly. If you are told that you can connect to a network printer, you should ask for the printer name and follow the relevant directions, linked below.

Network Printer Installation in Windows
If your office has a new printer that you wish to have set up on the network, please see the information at Setting Up a New Printer or Copier for Network Access.
Printer Maintenance and Repair
University Technology does not handle printer maintenance or repair. If the printer is broken - it's not a network or permissions issue - then the requesting office will need to contact a repair technician. Two companies Drew has worked with in the past are:
Graphics Technology Services, INC
